Anders Selects the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Gateway Chapter as 2025 Charity of Choice

Anders has named the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Gateway Chapter as its 2025 Charity of Choice. The foundation is dedicated to funding research and providing support for those impacted by cystic fibrosis (CF). Anders is proud to champion this foundation as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the firm’s Charity of Choice program.

About the Anders Charity of Choice Program

Since 2005, the Anders Charity of Choice program has raised over $400,000 to support causes such as Missouri Veterans Endeavor, Lydia’s House, The Child Advocacy Center and more. Each year, Anders team members nominate and vote for an organization to support through year-long fundraising, volunteer efforts and awareness initiatives. In 2024, the program raised over $27,000 for Memory Care Home Solutions. The donations advanced the organization’s mission to provide support to people living with dementia and their care partners to help improve and extend quality time spent at home.

About the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. The foundation funds more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of its support. The foundation, based in Bethesda, Md., also supports and accredits a national care center network recognized by the National Institutes of Health as a model of care for a chronic disease. The CF Foundation is a donor-supported nonprofit organization. For more information, please go to www.cff.org.

“We are extremely grateful to have been chosen as Anders 2025 Charity of Choice,” said Anna Kusnierkiewicz, Associate Executive Director for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Gateway Chapter. “Their support will help us take another step toward finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. With advocates like Anders, it is no longer if we will see a cure, but when.”

Chrysa Cousley, Anders Tax Manager and a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Ambassador, nominated the organization and opened up about what it means to her and her family.

“I nominated the Gateway Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation because their mission holds a deeply personal significance,” said Cousley. “In July 2024, my daughter, Stevie Lou, was born and diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a diagnosis that came as a shocking and terrifying surprise with no family history of the disease. The Gateway Chapter quickly became an invaluable source of support, connecting us with unmatched resources, relationships and a sense of community. Their unwavering commitment to finding a cure inspires hope for a brighter future for families like mine.”

Anders and the firm’s employees will hold numerous events as the year goes on to collect donations and offer volunteer opportunities in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. An annual March Madness bracket, Christmas in July and more annual events will take place over the next few months to provide our employees and community members to showcase their spirit of generosity for a truly deserving cause.
